In 2006 with assistance from Virgin Mobile and Resolution Health we launched our own stand-alone TV show, Boardriders TV. The 26-minute show premiers every second Monday night on South Africa’s leading sports channel, SuperSport. Boardriders TV is produced by Durban-based production house Invisible Cactus which is made up of a crew of talented people that eat and sleep the surf and skate lifestyle.
Boardriders TV is a show that consists of surf, skate and snow footage from the globe over both male and female. The show also brings you a variety of Quiksilver and Roxy events, rider profiles, free riding, interviews, and surf, skate and snow missions. Past shows include boat trips in Indonesia, Kelly Slater profiles, New Zealand snowboarding trips, Roxy surf trips to Mozambique and skate trips to China and all over South Africa. The show brings you something new and fresh every episode with subtle voice-over and edgy music.
Boardriders TV has numerous repeats on SuperSport throughout the week and is also repeated on the GoTV channel on DSTV.
